Differential seismic analysis of seismic twins observed by CoRoT and Kepler

The CoRoT short astroseismic runs and Kepler mission provide us an opportunity to study a large set of variable stars. The most detailed analysis of the star is based on the determination of the largest possible number of oscillations frequencies with high quality. In the case of low-quality oscillation spectrum, the output is limited. Despite the dim magnitude of the star, we show that we can benefit from the seismic scaling relations to enhance the precision of the asteroseismic output. Our new differential approach makes possible to constrain the internal stellar structure of stars having low S/N power spectra using reference stars observed with a higher S/N.
